this is a project that has dogged me for over a decade. borne of a unyielding enthrallment with floyd bennett field, the first commercial airport in brooklyn, i made countless sojourns to the old airfield over many years and documented hours of footage across various formats, primarily vhs.
several unfinished and partial edits exist in various forms; two trailers have been released. one titled "fbf", and more recently, this trailer.
presently, this sample stands as a testament to my artist's struggle: a persistent, yearning fascination with a subject at odds with a years-long creative paralysis.
